Who is the principal of You Can Be the Bank?

Alan Faitel is the principal of YCBTB and owner of several other companies.  As a full-time Real Estate Investor since 1986, he has successfully bought and sold over 330 single family homes in the Oakland County, MI area.  Since 2007 he has focused almost exclusively on Bank Owned/REO properties.

Alan’s success with his real estate business would only be possible because he has continually sought out the most current information and education within the real estate investment industry.  He is constantly learning new strategies to improve his business and gives credit to his numerous partners, mentors, instructors and trainers.  Alan has been a member of Real Estate Investors Association (REIA) for over 20 years and formerly served as a board member.  He enjoys sharing his knowledge and passing along his expertise as a speaker on topics of real estate at REIA meetings.  Alan also is a member of North Oakland Rental Association and the National Association of Investors.  He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Western MI University and to help him stay on top the property rehab projects, he maintains a MI Builder’s license. He sleeps, breathes, and lives real estate.

Over the years Alan has developed tight relationships with investors, Real Estate brokers, Attorneys, title companies, insurance agents, tax advisors, CPA’s, construction workers, bankers and real estate agents.  With his team of experts in place, his 25 years of experience, cutting edge technology, and critical timing.
